The hardest thing to do is define a trusted mechanic. Well, my daughter was in Miami for her Studies, she experienced some vehicle, mechanical issues. I was notified from a friend in Georgia that there was a trusted mechanic in South Florida. So I gave Mr. Dave a call and trusted him. I am so happy I did he not only fixed the problem. He also corrected it an issue that the dealership had overlooked. It is good people like this that many of us have a hard time finding, but when you do just know that he’s dependable.. Thank you Mr. Dave for getting my little one back on the road!

I had an amazing experience at DR Transmission. Alex was transparent, thorough ,honest and the price is right. The team took their time to properly diagnose my vehicle. From the moment I walked through the door I had a good feeling. I am very happy with the service provided from Dr transmission and will continue to bring my car here for all my needs. Took my vehicle to have them to diagnose my trans malfunction. They couldn't figure out. So I paid the $80 fee with no results. Also noticed they broke an adapter in my car. I called and informed them and they immediately deflected. Didn't waste much time going back and forth with them. UPDATE: Their response is false. I've added all of the messages that were exchanged and the results of their diagnosis and scan, which did’not find any issues. So they recommended a $4400 full transmission rebuild. So yeah there solution to not knowing what was wrong was to rebuild it. Imagine going to the doctor for heart pain and they say “idk what wrong with it, lets just replace it” lol. But honestly I wasn't bothered by them not finding the issue or paying the diagnosis fee. The reason I left this 1 star review was because I am 99% certain they broke my OBD2 plug that I use for my aftermarket tune. And when I called to mention it “Alex” immediately deflected without even a consideration of the idea that they could've possibly done it. Ultimately they got a bad review for not taking responsibility and then they proceeded to respond with lies.

Had to call to get some information. Very impressed by their willingness to answer my questions politely and thoughtfully. It's clear that they enjoy their work and are willing to put in the effort all around. In Florida that's rare. I wouldn't hesitate to give them my business.

I took my 2014 Jeep Patriot in because I thought it had an oil leak coming from the timing chain cover. Instead of just charging me for something unnecessary, they carefully inspected the vehicle and honestly explained that the leak was actually coming from the valve cover gasket. They fixed the real issue, were completely transparent, and didn’t try to overcharge or take advantage of the situation. That level of honesty and professionalism is rare nowadays. The service was excellent, communication was clear, and the repair was done properly. My Jeep is running great now.
